To whom it may concern, 

It is my distinct pleasure to recommend Ashlee, for any opportunities for which she may be considered. I only had the chance to teach Ashlee for one year, in 9th Grade Science, and I mostly lost track of her after that year. Then a few years ago we became friends on social media. I was immediately struck by her determination and dedication to pursuing a career in education.  

Ashlee does not shy away from hard work. When she has a task to accomplish, she buckles down and gets it done. She is also a realist who recognizes if she is in a situation where she doesn’t have enough background knowledge. Rather than trying to bluff her way through, she will figure out what she needs and make sure that she gets it. She is very good at seeking appropriate help when she needs it.  

Ashlee is a very determined young woman with definite, realistic goals for herself. She has a strong interest in a successful career, and I have no doubt that she can be very successful in anything she sets her mind to. Again, I highly recommend Ashlee for any positions for which she might be considered.
